We are so happy we chose Indian Ridge as our wedding venue! It was absolutely beautiful. We still cannot get over how perfect it was. The setting is naturally picturesque (we also had amazing weather)- from the rustic and spacious barn to the gorgeous lake to the romantic waterfall where we did our first look- all breathtaking! All of our guests were in awe of the beautiful scenery. Ricky and Amber were amazing throughout the process. We planned our wedding in 6 months and they provided a lot of help and guidance. We did pay for the extra coordination package and it was well worth it. We truly had the perfect wedding thanks to Indian Ridge! Highly recommend!
I couldn't have picked a more perfect venue for my Friday the 13th Hallowedding. Ricky was incredible and extremely accommodating and Amber along with the rest of the staff go above and beyond all expectations. Aside from the gorgeous views and immaculate atmosphere Indian Ridge is powered by some amazing people who made sure my day went off without a hitch. The bartenders are friendly and fast and the drinks are to die for. Everyone there is so kind and so ready and willing to help in anyway to make sure your wedding day is the most perfect day. I can go on and on all day about how perfect this place is and I wish I could give more stars. I can't even speak justice to how gorgeous this venue is so I will share some photos. If you go with Indian Ridge for your special day you will not regret it!
I don’t even know where to begin on how to write a review for such an amazing, breathtaking venue that will always be a very special memory for my husband and I. Ricky, Kayla and Amber really made it a point to make sure our day was PERFECT, from first signing the contract, keeping in touch with us, the photographer, DJ, florist and most importantly our caterer to make sure there was no hiccups, clarifying every detail was put into place we wanted, made sure our family and guests were taking care of and simply just making our special day “special!” We just couldn't thank Ricky, Amber and Kayla enough...we had nothing but great feedback from our family and guests and their time celebrating our wedding with us was a great time for them as well. We would recommend IndianRidge to whoever we come across who is about to become a soon to be Mr. and Mrs. The most PERFECT rustic barn wedding any newly wed couple could go for! And of course we have to say it again... THANK YOU RICKY, AMBER AND KAYLA! Just simply PERFECT!!!
From the very first interaction with Ricky and Amber, we had nothing shy of an incredible experience throughout our entire wedding planning process. Indian Ridge is a beautiful venue that Ricky and his team continue to update and make it even more beautiful as the time goes on. The grounds are well maintained, and the amount of love and effort they put into this property is extremely evident. Ricky and Amber were a pleasure to work with- they were always willing to answer any of our last minute questions, whether they were big or small. We are so grateful we found Indian Ridge! Our wedding day was perfect, and was by far the best day of our lives. All of our guests continue to compliment us on the awesome experience they had at our wedding in October 2023- from the bar making excellent drinks, the coziness and elegance of the barn allowing us the romantic feel we were attempting to achieve, beautiful locations throughout the property to take photos and videos that we will continue to look back at for a lifetime, lawn games, fire pit, and all of the other vendors we hired to make this day as perfect as it was. We already want to host another large scale party at Indian Ridge!
I had my wedding here in September of 2023. From start to finish, Ricky the owner and Amber the venue coordinator were extremely helpful and kind. The venue itself is beautiful, and our guests loved it. I highly recommend getting married here if you love nature and want to make your own vision come to life. Thank you Ricky and Amber!!!
Indian Ridge was the first venue we toured in person and we knew right away it was the one we wanted for our wedding. The property and landscape are amazing, but the barn was what really sold us - it is beautiful! From the very first day we met Ricky & Amber, they were friendly, informative, and made us excited to plan our wedding at this location. This team is truly amazing! They were incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond to our questions & ideas. It ended up raining the day of our wedding but even with the last minute rain plan, Ricky & team were quick & efficient, always checking in to make sure we were happy with the new set-up. Major props to Ricky for being "on-call" all day making sure everything was running smoothly. He was super attentive and had us feeling at ease throughout the day! Venue coordinator, Amber, was also amazing to work with! She answered all of our questions quickly and in great detail and was a huge help with suggestions as we were putting together our floor plan. Considering we ended up having to make many 'day of' decisions due to the rain, we feel very lucky that we had Ricky & Amber by our side! Thank You so much guys!! You were a big part of making this day as perfect as it was for us!
I had an engagement party here and we had family come in from across the world - they all were blown away by this venue! We lucked out with the weather, but the landscape was right out of a beautiful painting. Ricky made planning our party so seamless - he was flexible, honest, straight-forward, and clearly wanted the best for us throughout the planning process and during our party. I wish we could live our party here over and over again.
The selection of a wedding venue when you’re trying to put your own spin on the event can be somewhat troublesome. We wanted to do things our own way, so what we needed was the perfect template and a host that would give us free range. After much searching, we arranged to visit Indian Ridge and see the property. The pictures on Ricky’s website are indicative of what you get when you visit his property. It was absolutely stunning, even in the middle of winter. What sold us on the venue was Ricky himself, who promised a lot and wound up delivering and more. We wanted to have some of our guests be able to camp the night of our wedding. “No Problem”. When showing the reception area, he insisted there was enough power to “host a rock concert”, great, because that’s exactly what we had in mind. Wedding preparation can be an absolute chore, and having Ricky there giving us advice and insight to the area was extremely beneficial. Our wedding day went off without one single issue. We were blessed to have a gorgeous late September day and everything was PERFECT. Ricky and his team took all the stress out of our big weekend and allowed us to enjoy it without a worry. Our guests continue to tell us how much fun they had and what a wonderful occasion it was. We are extremely grateful for finding Ricky and Indian Ridge, and having the most wonderful day of our lives.
"I had my wedding of over 115 people at Indian Ridge in October of 2013. Ricky Auchmoody, the owner, is so easy to work with and is generous with his beautiful property. Unlike some of the other country venues, Indian Ridge Preserve has it all. Ricky even had opened his gorgeous gardens and apple orchard to our guests. He was so supportive and helpful in so many ways. He even helped with the décor and placement of the tent to show the lake and mountains to their advantage, giving our guests a spectacular view. You will not be disappointed if you choose this venue. The field where we had our tent is so large we had the entire cocktail hour and reception with room to spare for the restroom trailer and more. The next day Ricky even came out to the site and helped my family clean up since we were on our honeymoon. What an amazing day! And what an amazing venue! I highly recommend Indian Ridge for a Tastefully Chic, Down Home Country Wedding! Thank you Ricky for making our day enchantingly unforgettable!"
We got married at Indian Ridge in mid-September, and it really was magical. We rented the venue for the weekend. My whole bridal party stayed in the lodge the night before, and we got ready there as well. We had our Sunday brunch in the Orchard, which Ricky set up with tables and decor from our wedding, making it so easy for us. Ricky (the owner) was incredible to work with. He took care of everything he said he would and so many things that just popped up over the course of the weekend. The grounds are gorgeous and the tent area stays dry even in a downpour (trust me!). Ricky made sure not just us, but our whole bridal party was taken care of on the big day, shuttling us in the rain to and from pictures. We had a bonfire after party after the rain stopped and the skies cleared, all of which was a game-time decision and Ricky made happen without any fuss. If you are looking for an outside farm to have your wedding, this really is the perfect place. The grounds are amazing. The staff is incredible and accommodating. Everything was spectacular!
I knew it was the place I wanted to get married when I saw it in early fall last year, with its serene lake, sprawling apple orchards, and colorful wildflowers on full display. It was the perfect backdrop for the outdoor tented wedding I had in mind. Over a long year of wedding planning, Ricky, the owner, quickly became my confidant. He was extremely reliable, meticulous and considerate in his role. Every step of the way, he provided great insight, and as a bride, he gave me all the world's ease and confidence leading up to and on the day of the wedding. It is bittersweet that I will no longer get to correspond and work with him! If you are planning on an outdoor wedding in the Hudson Valley, Indian Ridge and Ricky should be at the very top of your list!
